Greetings: I am currently working on the 86TR fuel system. Found this, as well: Since only one image per post is allowed, I'll post again. The image quality isn't that great since it was taken with a web cam, but it will have to do until my negatives are developed. This car is driven easy, never tracked.. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Well that's not good, you're going to need a new one. I wouldn't weld it because the think is probably all fatigued. PS-You can post the other pics as replys on the thread, you don't need to start another thread.
Gabriel, E-mail me and I will send you drawings and instructions for repairing that crack. Rest assured my "fix" is not dangerous. My job is designing race cars so I have a little expertise in this area. Brian Willis [email protected]
It does look to be repairable. Just make sure that the repairs are done by a Qualified welder using top of the line TIG welding equipment.
I think crazy glue, and a little duct tape will hold that together. As a matter of fact, leave it broken. Then it's like a thriller ride. You can sit there clutching the wheel, sweating, waiting for it to totally fail, and wondering what will hapen to you when it does! It'll be like a Hitchcock movie!
>I think crazy glue, and a little duct tape will hold that together. Sounds like that's whats holding your sanity together, Rudy ol boy.
