I need to start looking for some new tires for my daytona...i have several sets of wheels and I own a brand new (old) set of original michelins. I have heard some use Yokohamas. Can anyone steer me towards some modern tires that will work on my Daytona? I have not been able to find replacement Yokahamas.

I believe their have been previous discussions on this, because I looked at them recently (my dad has a 330 GT 2+2 with Daytona wires).
Anyway I have looked up some tires:

    Goodyear Eagle RS-A 225/70VR15
    Pirelli P 4000 215/70 R15 W
    Pirelli P Supertouring 215/70 R15

    Coachi,

Not a lot out there especially, if you want to go wider. Best I could come up with for my 9" rear Cromodra's was a Pirelli P600 235/60 X 15. It is slightly smaller (2%) than stock and not too modern looking tread pattern. They have speed rating of WR (168 Mph) which is just accepible. Tire Rack has them in stock for $131. Yoko AVS Intermediates are NLA from what I understand. Wish someone still made a 255/60 X15 with an acceptible speed rating.
