My under dash light does not work. Upon inspection, I noticed that all the 3 prongs at the base of the holder, are positive. The ground is actually the top metal rim. The bulb I found in it, has to be the wrong type (although it seems to be right) because there is no way, whatsoever, to get the ground on one of the little wires coming out of it. The both touch a positive connection. Can someone, please confirm that the bulb is wrong and, of course, point out to me the proper bulb? Thanks, Gianluca
There is no under dash light on my 308 - there is a power take off for the trouble light though - maybe you are confusing the socket for that with a lamp socket. John
John, thank you for the reply. It all make sense now. I have been racking my brain to understand what bulb would go in there... The PO had a buld in there (which did fit quite well) and I assumed I needed one. Of course it must be the trouble light! Thanks again, Gianluca
That is located to the left of the steering wheel, under the dash, on left hand drive cars. Most all Ferraris have them, at least up to the 355, not sure about the 360.
Dave's right. It is mounted under the small storage hole on the left. Could anyone, please, post a picture on the trouble light and the plug? Thanks.
Here is the link off of Dave's site at Sodacom's...another reason to support him, is the great service he offers by having pictures, descriptions and part numbers available.... http://snurl.com/2x0n
Ok, I have that too. I knew it was there and what it was for. The post with the light in it just threw me for a minute.
