    I am thinking about coloring the black headlight fixtures in my 550 body color. Can someone photo shop the pictures below so i can see how the car would look with colored headlights. Thanks in advance for your help.

    maybe try to find a yellow 575 (which does have body color lights?)

    I've been looking and can't find a pic

    Edit: Actually the 575 just has the enclosures body color, not the fixtures. So, never mind. See 575 attached.

    Like Mark says - it's tricky to get it right, because there's so many variables - I'm using the yellows contained inside the headlight cover, to ease the transition - *but* those same yellows chosen - had been affected by reflections of the very black they purportedly replace. In this case, WYSIWYG doesn't mean WYSIWYG, but... WYSIWYG.

    Tell you the truth I think that the black inner housing looks better than the colored. your 550 would look really sharp with HID's 4100k for best light and color from projectors.

    Thanks for the help everyone. Wax your photo-shop actually looks really good gives me a general idea of how the car will look. I was just thinking of coloring the 550 lights yellow because 575 lights cost around $3,500 a piece. If i get it done i will post pictures of how it turns out. I was thinking about putting the HID lights on but you have to put these boxes behind the lights to produce that create the HID bulb from working. I didn't like the idea of putting things in the engine compartment.

    All I did was color inside the lines. Looks like you've got your mind made up, but you might want to see what the lowdown is on the black material first:

    A) Will it take the paint well
    B) Is there a reason it's black (temps, etc.)
    C) Yada, yada, yada
