I finally had enough, and quit this morning. I am not sure what is going to happen next but life is too short to deal with a-holes. If anybody is looking for a sales guy for what ever let me know. I have been in the investment business for eight years and would love something new. I do have irons in the fire, not to mention I will be bored in about two weeks, so I am not a total dead beat.

I was in the exact same boat four years ago. I would have to leave my home in the hills every Sunday night (from my Friday drive to it). One Sunday, I got about a third of the way home and did a U-Turn. I just said 'Screw it all'! It was just too damn hard leaving God's country every week!

Peters, great looking home! I can see why it would be hard to leave.

Paul, someday you'll look back and say, "Why, didn't I leave sooner?"

    Good luck, DrTax

If I ever CAN'T make my payment, I have a nice 38' jump from my roof to the driveway! (If not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop!).

I think my entire house would fit on your deck. I am very happy about it. If I could only afford to not have to find a new job. I have several interviews lined up in Houston next week. Until then my only plan is to watch LeMans on DVD and play some Playstation2.

I might have a few leads here locally for you. Drop me a PM/email. No promises, but it's good to network, right?

    Paul,

Use the time to unwind and have fun. This will bring a more relaxed mindset when you start the new job. Bring a few friends to a retreat :)

    Enjoy the Drive,

I would be lovin life. The real problem is that this bank merger has put my internal move on hold, and now that every middle mgmt lacky is posturing themselves to "stay through the merger" I have lost all support. Being on commission only, without the authority to discipline my team, I am doing to work of eight, and earning the amount of .25. So I gave notice that if I do not hear about my transfer by Friday, I will be leaving the company.

    Cheers
