yeah..let me know how much you bought and the website you bought it from. Racedeck Corporate is very strick on resellers and the pricing. There is not a great deal of markup on the product and all the other Racedeck resellers I have seen on the web are at $3.75 sq ft. unless the order is over 1,000 then it is $3.49 or so.

P.S. The Shelby Cobra replicar is for sale if anyone is interested $33k? I'm advertising it at $40k, and had it appraised at $42k. I have more pics available.

I just thought of another good reason for racedeck... you can't resale or move epoxy or tile. You can buy the racedeck and I bet you could still get $2-2.50 a square foot later on.

Exactly...or take it with you. If you move into a larger garage...being that the tiles never fade or discolor...just order additional tiles.

    Thanks Rob.

Significantly less than 1000 sq ft, I only did one bay of my garage. Based on the comments of ntol with the racedeck avatar, I prefer not to state the name of the web store (the salesman was knowledgeable and helpful with all merchandise ordered, I do want him to get a nasty call from racedeck because of me)

I restate to my previous question: How about a better deal for us Ferrari owners?

if you're a serious buyer, talk to the sellers and get serious pricing. when i bought i had racedeck and kiwi going back and forth with lower and lower prices without either batting an eye. my assumption is that there's plenty of margin in these things.

Actually, the margin isn't that great. You have to make some profit to stay in business, otherwise there's no money left to support your favorite boards. ;) The major markup with this product is usually in the installation, but its easily a do it yourself product.

With that being said, the more that we sell in a single order, the better a cut we can get from corporate. We'd have to treat it like a group purchase. We're not going to "advertise" a price below what corporate says we can, or we won't be resellers anymore.

sorry - i should have clarified. at the retail level, i imagine the margins are not great. so please don't put the screws to racdecknc too hard, guys :)

but let's just suggest that kiwi and snaplock aren't starving to death by any stretch ;)

One more point on cleaning a Kiwi type tile, like Doody, I take the shop vac to it pretty frequently. Then once in the spring I fire up the power washer and do the entire floor. This gets all the stains, the crud and salt from the winter out of the garage. The water goes through the tile and flows ou the door.

I've had my floor for more than 2 years and it still look great, well, it will in the spring.
