I just received an e-mail from my friend who has the McLaren F1 that he let me drive for three days. He had told me earlier that when he got his Enzo he would drive both for a month or two and then decide which one he would sell. Well, he likes them both so much that he is keeping both of them. He says they have two distinct personalities and drive completely differently. If only..................................

You could sell them both, get a new Prius, and have some money left over.

I hate to tell you guys this but I don't know Dan Kennedy so I am sure he would not let me have his car for three days. Different person entirely. This car was featured in Car and Driver in 1997 and the owner is from West Texas. Very good friend of mine.

Kinda weird... Because Kennedy has an F1 and Enzo, both have been for sale, and his F1 was in Road & Track.

That is weird. The one I am talking about was on the cover of R&T in 1997. It has an ichthus (Christian fish symbol) on the back of it and it can be clearly seen in the photos. It also states in the article that the "car belongs to a gentleman from Texas who prefers to remain annonymous". He has only had his Enzo since June or July, he is not ready to get rid of it.

I wonder how many guys are out there who actually own both cars at the same time.................

Just received another e-mail from my friend with the McLaren F1. He had broken the mainshaft in gearbox about 9 months ago and was having to have a new one machined. After 9 months he found out that the guy who was supposed to be doing it had done NOTHING on the car after telling him he was working on it all the time. He is now shipping the gearbox back to the UK to have it done. So, he is HAVING to drive his Enzo all the time instead of splitting time.
