last year i purchased an '89 328 gts with 3,011 miles on it...all incredibly well documented...i paid $72,000 for it and now drive it on a regular...
the dealership is baffled also...seems they never saw anything like it either...the metal top connector just parted ways with the ceramic stem......
yesterday i was running my 328 (admittedly over 140, but just for a teensy bit, so please avoid the public enemy comments) and when i decelerated...

i drive my truck without the clutch all the time, but i would question the sanity of someone doing it with a ferrari, at least their own one......
