    How many 288's remain worldwide, does anybody have a feeling? I was told of one that caught fire due to a faulty oil filter which leaked oil...

    Not mine, mine's in the UK. Nice find. Didn't think they could be put on Swiss plates as they weren't homologated in der Schweiz?
