I was hoping to rule out the section from the temp ecu to the main ecu
Thanks guys. I've swapped the ecus, and my slow down.light stayed, even just after starting, so we'll before they've had a chance to heat up.

id say, very well planted up to around 170mph, starts feeling a little light around there... and the brakes aren't really up to that speed......

Correct. It reads 10kmh when it's stopped. Far as my gps reports, it is accurate it's whole travel, less 10kmh

On mine it was the door latch being worn.
I'll check the paperwork when I get back in country, but yes, it does sound like the same car. It had been let go in the last 8 years before it...

Apparently, you can add mine to the list. 96gt, BMW accumulators just fitted
