OK .. update.. pulled all fuses, cleaned and reset them all.. hooked up the scanner and voila.. OBD I/F power was on!! I am not 100% what was...
The SD connection I expect is what you mean.. If I cant get the OBD plug to work Ill make up a patch cable to hook up to that using remote 12v
That makes sense.. the footwell fuses are all good.. ill see how the front set look later this evening. You would think that if a fuse is gone...

I just picked up Palmers' ScanXL (PCMScan). I tried connecting to the car this am and it came back with 'unable to connect to vehicle' error....
chain reaction?? ...cracked/leaking filler/ vapor pipe.. small leak of fuel on header... ignition... small fire... cheap plastic fuel...
