which camera do you have? not sure if there's any topic like that here as I'm new here...
always use the highest setting if you have storage enough I would say ;) If you want to make prints or want to crop images it's the best...

yes I heard that F40 was there but I couldn't find it immediately and I didn't search for long (had to get in Les Combes for the F1 ;)) don't know...
the EOS 350D is imho a very good camera, don't own one myself (I have an EOS 20D) but a friend of mine has and I've taken a few shots with it......
