Not really. I just made mine first because I wanted something different and then a couple of people asked me to do it for them.

You can't compare apples to oranges - because that is simply what you are trying to do. They are two completely different cars.
I ran my wiring from the counter of the dash and it sits flush almost above the dash - that way you can't see any of the cord. Love my V1.
