In the meantime Ferrari has checked the bulb, also a new one isn't working, so they assume its the ballast. Unfortunately Ferrari does not offer...
Really nobody with experience on that one? (or is it just such a no brainer and I simply get the bulb replaced?)

I would agree, having a European 612 from 2004, service book says 5 years.
it is not (or not anymore), I think they changed the belt, now its 5 year for all 612's.

Strange then that in Europe a low mileage GTO is still available for less than 400K$, maybe because they sold more here....
