Me too. Guess most buyers want as close to "original" as possible. Lots of talk in the BAT thread RE lack of original exhaust diaper, tools,...
Common issue on the 2V. The 84/85 QV had upgraded bearings from factory.
Looking good!
I agree. I've also seen this car in person. There lots of hype of BAT. That is for sure.
Scared me too..until i figured it out...LOL
Sheehan's GTB QV on BAT is rough. I'm surprised its at 80K. Car has to many stories IMO.
A/C belt. Mine car will do that on cold start on cold days. Goes away fairly quickly.
Go with the Tubi. Hard to beat quality and sound IMO.
Just make sure the oil is full before spirited drive. I drive Angeles Crest in my GTB QV all the time. Never had an issue. I'm also running 200...
Funny! Never knew that. My 85 GTB QV has them too. Must be parts bin special.
Photo please??;)
Very interesting. I believe most came with smooth. Maybe Ferrari had 1 left over..LOL
Michael, Here is 1 more to add. This 85 (#56985) sold about year ago for around 90K....
You can add me.. 1985 308 GTB QV # 55849- Red/Tan. Great info, thanks !
Hard to beat Tubi quality, and sound! Very period correct. Get what you pay for. [ATTACH]
