Very true. When I bought mine I'd planned on keeping it 2, perhaps 3 years at most. Just to tick off the NA V12 box before they became extinct....
In my experience, my current McLaren (720S) has been more reliable than my current Ferrari (GTC4 Lusso). It's been faultless in fact. I also...
Easily the Senna if you intend to track it a lot. If mainly road use, then not (as it will be beaten by 765LT anywhere except a high downforce...
Everything that's already been said: cold tyres, cold surface, bridge with uneven grip levels, heavy foot. Plus you can see he foolishly...
As they are all used cars now, basically get one loaded to the gills with options. And a V12. Lusso options cost a King's ransom, so get a car...
Sort of. It's half of the demand/supply equation that determines prices.
Great historic analysis, but that's all it is. There are of course 2 significant factors he can't do the maths for: 1/ Lusso is the last of...
I got a really nice surprise. Ferrari had sent the original owner of my Lusso a precise hand made one-off model of his exact car, right down to...
I know what you mean, but a catback change will only affect the warranty on that part of the exhaust - as it does not affect the engine, ECU etc....
With my Lusso, which is the same exhaust fittings as FF, I kept the cats (safer for warranty, and retains usability of the car as a quiet GT...
Agree 100%. Both FF and Lusso are big heavy GT cars first and foremost. I do love my Lusso for what it does though: a very fast, comfortable...
Completely pointless.... until you need it :) In other words, it's a "must have".
I never had an FF, but I too did read that the Lusso has IIRC 10mm more rear legroom. I would guess it was achieved by a change in seat designs....
Drive an early Lusso and a late one, and you will see they are wrong and uninformed. It's very likely Ferrari simply never listed the change....
I'm afraid I don't know the exact changeover date. But it's such a dramatic difference that a test drive will easily reveal it. Some people may...
It's not an "issue" or fault. Just a difference in feel, and I personally hated the superlight zero feedback of the early version. Others may...
Electric steering :(
I'd say its far more likely to hold its value now. Certainly the V12. Not so sure about the V8.
Agree with most of what you have said Lukey, except the GT car bit. Yes Lusso is a GT car, but it is definitely also a supercar (no 911 is IMO)....
Great news as far as I'm concerned. To own one of the last 4 seat Ferrari V12 true supercars :) And no, an SUV will *never* be a supercar, no...
