Easiest would have been a "high lift" pallet jack. But i had only this one. Took some more time but went fine.
Lol , I am not crazy. That was used to push up the frame so the last bolt went in smooth. All the other bolts were "in"
Somebody told me the scissor would be more stable if i had turned it 180° So the engine above the fixed hinge side of the lift. He could be right....
Never solder a wire connection in a car ( or anything that vibrates ). It will break at a certain time 100% sure.
Getting tired here of playing ping-pong. Do as you like. I know what i learned from my degree. Rest my case. Cauf out. :-)
Very correct M Letting the engine warm up at idle is the worst thing to do.Never ever do that except for a few occasions that require this....

As you can see on one off the pictures ( no 3 ) we had to temporarily remove the drive up plates from the lift to get good access to the 12 frame...

After all it was an easy job to get the engine out. We worked with 2 people and very carfuly and slow ( first time) 6 hrs to get it out.
That's the one i bought. It was a bit less expensive but you do need a dual scissor to get in between the 2 raising parts. Alway's work safe and...
