Under the centre squab section there is a bucket and the screw is on the cabin side, not the boot side. It should be a Phillips head screw.

Hello No bolts in the trunk on a series 1 car, just 1 screw each side of the rear squab and 1 up high in the centre of the rear squab. Jim
There are 3 screws at the bottom, don't forget the centre one, then you slide the rear (squab) backrest upwards. Jim

Hello Andres It took much practice, my best results now come from using a heat gun after applying the paint.
