I recently replaced all mine & struggled to find vacuum hose with a large enough diameter.
I ended up using truck air brake hose - DOT CT AIR...
I was just fixing an oil leak on the adjuster & this can be done with the engine in.
I'm also realigning the camshafts, setting valve clearances...
I assumed the same thing but couldn't really understand why you would spend money redesigning a part for a low production run vehicle.
I'm resetting my camshafts and valve clearances so decided I should try and fix one of my annoying oil leaks while a lot of parts are removed.

I also made up a simple tool this week for removing the camshaft alignment/drive pins.
Old spanners do come in very handy.
Yesterday I made a set of valve shim replacement tools out of two old spanners.
Took the right rear wheel off one - these are the pics looking down from the top.

It is also on the opposite side for right hand drive cars. It will be on the opposite side to the power steering unit.
