[ATTACH] Smushed all the grease in.
[ATTACH] Installed the bearing.
[ATTACH] Started to pack the bearing. I believe you work the grease into all the little holes and cracks in the bearing.
[ATTACH] I used a mixture of these pullers and the old races to tap the outer race into the hub.
[ATTACH] Wheel bearing time.
[ATTACH] Not sure at this point how to adjust everything, but I installed these and torqued them down.
[ATTACH] Dug these out today.
[ATTACH] Torqued everything down today.
[ATTACH] I cleaned up the hub. at this point realized I didn’t have any grease. So cannot continue until next time.....
[ATTACH] Ok all the bits apart now. I understand better how this hangs together now....
[ATTACH] I tried using the slide hammer, but no luck..... the best method however seemed to be, put the puller in backwards, and then holding...
[ATTACH] Got the puller kit out....
[ATTACH] The “guts” or the wheel facing bearing just falls out. The race is still in there...
[ATTACH] Started to think about the front wheel bearings. Never done this before, so will take detailed pictures. Let me know if I do...
[ATTACH] Ok. Spent most of the time getting the other side done. So no real pictures as nothing new. next week will torque everything down !
[ATTACH] Last picture for today. Got the passenger upper a arm and shock. next time I’ll install the ball joints and clean up the other...
