S/F has the tiny pins (100796) and yes, you need all four on each side, despite what the last mechanic did. They also carry the rubber seals...

Be very careful about using that propane torch in the greasy engine bay! A heat gun is much safer, no open flame, and more dispersed heat...
There is always heating the area right around it up with a heat gun, then icing the plug to shrink it. Sometimes tightening it just a bit helps...

Thanks for your reply, it looks like your pic is of a rear shock, this is on the front only. I have found no reference to these spacers in the GT4...
Finally everything is ready to go back together on the 308 GT4 full suspension rebuild, all clean, powder coated, new parts ready and waiting......
