    My car is a 1975 model - I understand that the inner wheel arches are modified in later cars once 16" wheels were offered as an option.

    my tires are 205/55 Bridgestone potenza re002. Maybe this is a wider or squarer tire than the s02?

    Thanks for the replies - I might have to revert back to the original 14" wheels although I do like the look of the 16" wheels.

    I have changed my 1975 GT4 wheels to 16" Superperformance wheels with Bridgestone Potenza 205/55 R16 tyres to the front and they rub at full lock....
