    I meant to say that the tapping is during a warm startup. It goes away after about 30 seconds. Sorry about the misstatement. Thanks

    The tapping is during a cold start up. My Brother In law is a mechanic and he says it is in the valve train. It is pretty loud, you can hear it...

    I have a 355 spyder that when I start the engine, it sounds just fine. But after a few moments, there is a valve tapping sound that disappears...
