I am pretty certain in UK only the best customers would get 488 in the first year. Very few RHD Speciales on sale too.
I'd like to get Speciale, but there ain't many of them in UK and I do resent paying over MSRP for a car... :( Will probably get 911 TTS as a stop...
I don't expect cars to appreciate in value, and I also don't expect to wait 2-3 years in line or buy some other car I don't like so that dealer...
It's a very nice gravy train for some established customers of the company and dealers, but it's a loss of money for the company - 2-3 year...
It's not very first buyer friendly, is it... Perhaps after IPO questions will be raised as to whether directors of Ferrari break their fiduciary...

How much above MSRP would new 488s be trading, say +25% or a lot more (UK market)?
Asia will just change taxes to kick in from 2.9L engines, no Govt likes to lose nice little earner from luxury goods.
If there will be 499 Apertas then there ought to be a lot more Speciales - 2, 3 and maybe 4 times more? That would get to under 2000 number.
CO2 dropped very little, there seems to be no point to make such radical change for such small gain, however for sales in China having engine...
