My personal opinion.....if you want real heat reduction in the engine compartment you should invest in custom metal heat shields or header blankets.

The heat shielding looks to be easily spot welded back on if that is the plan.
Those look to be heat distorted.....same as mine when I removed the heat shielding.

What about using 3m tape on the metal sills? When I installed my carbon fiber sills used the 3m tape and that was many years ago....holding firm.
