4days of labour £1500 and £480 worth of hardware. IMO it sounds very excessive to change two syncros.
I've had the same problem with 1st and 2nd. The dealer seems to think there's something not quite right with the syncro rings.
Not knowing much about gear box, "glazed" was the word that the mechanic referred to the condition of the syncro
The parts on mydoor handles are getting worn out. what is the best way to restore the "rubberised" parts?
