I have the same issue with my 488. Awful on low beam and slightly better on full main beam but all in not good enough. Did you do a replacement bulb?
The factory fitted lights are worse than my C class Mercedes by a country mile. Just not good enough for a car that cost in excess of $250k....

Apparently the battery electronic thing on top needs 59 miles or so to recalibrate. Should work then.

And the update is that the firmware update is 500 euros plus tax and labour. Not covered by the power warranty according to UK dealership. Disgusted.
My 488 GTB (in UK) is doing precisely the same thing. In for a service on Friday and still under Ferrari Power Warranty, so hopefully will be fixed.
