I did the same exact thing but mine came from a fire damaged and salvaged 348 and I saved my originals.

The red car on eBay has a set of factory red 348 door pods from a salvaged 348. A body shop cut the strakes out, sanded, painted, and swapped out...

I think so. The 348 is modern enough while still being relatively easy to maintain.
I purchased a set of strakes from a burned 348 and had a body shop modify them. So they are a simple bolt on and reversible. Glad you like it.
