Sad news...RIP, Paul Walker.
I'd say C63 - incredible engine, power oversteer on demand, great steering, glorious V8 soundtrack, similar level of performance to a F430, seats...
Wow, that SLS Black Series is a beast.
What time does this begin and when does everyone call it a day?
It makes sense that it wasn't GRahal09 driving. He's an Indycar driver, and knows how to handle nasty machines.
I get what you're saying. With the higher limits of today's cars, the driver is also going a lot faster when losing control.
With modern tires, fancy diffs, and driving aids, I think cars today are much easier to handle. Imagine driving a wet lap of the Nordschleife....

Saw a red Gullwing 300 SL yesterday on Crown Valley Pkwy near Laguna Niguel.
Saw a black SL65 AMG Black Series on PCH this morning by Crystal Cove.
I saw a silver Jaguar XJ220 in Irvine at around 2pm today. I didn't know that any XJ220s had even made it onto the streets here in the US.
I'm impressed by Omega's in-house developed co-axial movement, and find the new Planet Ocean 8500 watches very attractive.
This seems like it would be a fun time. I don't know if I can be patient enough to watch a delayed showing of the race, though.
Great pass by Allmendinger!
What's special about this weekend?
Spotted a silver McLaren MP4-12C in Irvine this morning.
How big is the lot? Will it be tough finding parking if I arrive at 10am?
I've twice owned the S2000, so that's my safe recommendation. But if I had $15k lying around, I'd buy an Integra Type-R rather than another S2000.
I really enjoyed this movie. It really brought back memories of the man and that great era of Formula 1. I saw it in LA on premiere day and Q&A...
Identical 30.7s first segment for top five cars.
