I'm sitting here at my desk, sipping on the Valpolicella 2003 kindly given to me by Eugenio, and reflecting on the magnificent weekend that's past. I have lots of pictures and a new colection of memories...let me share some of the images with you.... Debs and I met Marc and John at 04h10 in darkest Hertfordshire. It was raining...and it soon got worse. Synchronised aqua-planing on the deserted M25 before sunrise! No - I don't recommend it!! The weather was miserable and slowed us down. After Ton was stopped at the Swiss border, the group became split with the front pack streaking ahead. Nevertheless, after 16 tiring hours on the road, we finally arrived in Andermatt and were warmly greeted by the hosts, Trevi and Manu. Trevi briefed us on the programme for the days ahead.
