I have 575 19" split-rim wheels on my 456, which I wanted, partly to get much lower profile tyres (for same rolling radius) and partly to accommodate bigger brakes. I was originally going to get the same 'Fiorano pack' Brembos as the 550 (and I believe F50) which fit onto 18" wheels, but just recently had 612 carbon-steel brakes (an option on 612) fitted which are also Brembos but even bigger diameter and with thicker disks. I don't know a model number or name for these wheels, but apparently they're an option on a 575 so main dealers can order them. Sadly, I'd guess they are a lot more than USD3000, but I don't actually know the list price. They are ZR 19 285/35 at the front and ZR 19 305/30 at the rear (from memory) and I have P zero Rossa tyres, and might switch to P zero Corsa's next tyre change....

I thoroughly recommend these wheels and tyres as they fill the wheel-arches so much nicer, and massively improve the dynamics (certainly over the 17" wheels of a 456). You can increase the offset a tad to fill the wheel arches even better, but in London I chose not to bother with that as we have many width limits.

I believe the biggest wheels you can fit on the 550/575 are the 20" OZ Racing wheels fitted to the competition 550/575s, but I dread to think what these would cost.

I never get any free time or good weather in London to get some pics and post them up to Fchat, but I hope to soon.

A DE company called something like Harmman also make many 19 and 20" wheels for Fcars, so check their website. They advertise in various F magazines, but maybe not worldwide.

You have many choices, so good luck.
