My good friend Abel died on Friday Night/Saturday Morning in a car accident up here in Tallahassee, Florida. He was only 18. Anyways, his family can't really afford this funeral right now, so we (www.tallyimports.com) have been trying to collect donations to go to his family to help cover the expenses.

I don't know if any of you would care about this... but, I figured I might as well give it a shot.

    Pic of him:

    thanks for reading anyways

Edit: I do realize this is my first post.... but, I've been reading/lurking on the forums since July

    "Man dies in Meridian accident:

An 18-year-old was killed Saturday morning when he lost control of his 1992 Acura on Meridian Road. According to Leon County Sheriff's Deputy Steve Barrow, Abel Lincoln was traveling north on Meridian Road about 3 a.m. when he overestimated a curve in the road and went barreling off on the east side of Meridian, striking several trees. Barrow said Lincoln was the only occupant of the car and was wearing a seat belt. A driver passing by the accident called authorities about 3:20 a.m."

he wasn't racing.... we know that for sure. We think he fell asleep at the wheel....

we went out to the spot today just to see for ourselfs what might have happened. All we saw was the slight curve, and then you see his tires marks going towards a now broken tree. And lots of debris...

.... the last time I saw him was when I sat next to him last sunday at a BBQ we had....

where did you find that news story? I've been searching online to no avail

I hope you guys had a great time at the BBQ. Oftentimes, the last impression we leave with someone is more lasting than the first one.

    I'm very sorry.
The only way to make sense of it is to believe in things that don't make sense, and have faith that there is a better place. I doubt there is anyone on this forum that hasn't done things that should have gotten us killed at some point in our lives, and that is part of living too. I say "thank you" every day.

Your comment is very much uncalled for. Not knowing the details is also presumptious. Not every 19 year old "races" on the street when they have an accident. To ask someone to get neutered is directly offensive. Please consider yourself warned as to future comments about other users. At FerrariChat we do not tolerate this behavior. It is a banable offense.
