Since see so much of the wood F50 and Helokity 512TR its time again for one of my favorite pics, Bob who clearly has bad judgement in clothes and driving skills concerning snowy roads, it's clear since he doesn't know he should not be wearing white after Labor Day.

Or perhaps more aptly 'good driver but certainly not a great driver'

I remember that picture, and am still impressed with how nonchalant he is. He's the kind of guy I never want to make pi$$ed.

Carb 512BB you can tell by the front spoiler.

Doesn't look like he has fog lights either.

Fog lights are behind grille on carb, and grille stops short on BBi.

I can't tell for sure if the foglights are there, though. My car, for instance, is a BB and doesn't have any fog lights. Maybe it's my car? (I doubt it)

Who is bob? Did the joke go right over my head? I know of a BBi (havent seen it yet) where the front has hit so hard the car ends at the dash. I hope to see it this winter sometime.

    "Bob" is in the caption

It reads, "Good tires, Bob mused casually lighting a cigarette, but certainly not great tires."

Looks like ‘Bob’ is standing almost on the rear tire skid marks, sort of proving the old myth that a Boxer past its limits has a tendency to park itself rear end first.

I think that Boxer definitely parked itself tail first.

So maybe this tail first parking feature is something far seeing good ol’ Enzo designed into the cars back in the pre air-bag days, to protect the occupants during a ‘Good tires- not Great tires’ event!
    Don’t think so? Me neither!

I’d like to take my car out in a Big parking lot sometime with lots of open space, just to see how far you can push it before this innovative tail first parking feature kicks in!

In the pic you can see ice on the road, I can imagine a boxer is a handful with its limited slip in snow and ice, either that or Bob looks like the type that was steering with his knees while looking down lighting a ciggarette and spun out before he knew it after hitting a ice patch.

The pic looks like somewhere in Europe, I wonder who also has that Boxer now, I'm sure the damage just buffed right out with some compound.

Perhaps the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S on 17" custom Boxer style knockoff rims would have prevented this! Certainly better than TRX...

I've had my Boxer for almost 2 years, and I've only driven it twice - for about 15 minutes each time.
I'll kill myself if that happens to me when I finally get to really drive it (most likely this winter).

One of my favorite shots. I've had it hanging in my office for awhile. Keeps things in perspective for me when the "drama" starts.

    That's good. Thanks!

Of course I live in a city where half the cars on the road are on summer tires! When it snows they blame the weather! LOL.

Of course these days the magazine would get sued for showing someone *GASP* smoking! EEK!!

Hmmm, he's wearing white pants and white shoes and there is snow on the ground. Perhaps "no white pants after labor day" does not apply in Canada. Of course, Bob looks like a bit of a "wiseguy" and probably follows a different set of rules. Is my imagination running wild?

    Shame about the car.

    That picture is from Canada.
It actually happened in Ancaster Ontario.

I have been on that particular road quite a few times many years back in my 308.

I will call my brother who knows who the guy is. See if he remembers.
