    My girlfriend and I are going to get a puppy soon. She wanted a typical girly (read: rat) dog, but now actually wants a Doberman Pinscher. Which I'm fine with.

    The only thing is, with a dog like that I wouldn't take anything but the best bloodline. There is a breeder about 200 miles away from us that breeds some amazing championship Dobermans, so we're going to wait until her next litter.

    In a year or two we'll probably also add a Vizsla, but only when we have a much larger yard and are closer to the lake.

    All of the pics I have seen of this breed have always had that 'I'm on patrol' look. Damn cute dog!

    My Fiance and I are wanting to get a puppy, trying to decide between a Mastiff or a Bulldog. Mastiff's are fantasic dogs, I had one before I left for college, my old roommate kept her. At 9 months she weighed like 120lbs. Only problem is we're likely going to be moving to Chicago, and it's going to be hard to find an apartment that will let us keep a 150-200lb dog.

    She's a Boston Terrier. We chose that breed because they kinda look like miniature Boxers.

    I just went thru the thread again, they are all so cute. I am trying to decide between an English Bull or a Boxer for my sons birthday. I love Lucky! I love Boston Terriers too.
