    I emailed Dan about this before sharing, but here is some news from Dan:
    From what I understand, the issues with the Eye happend while overseas and after going to a doctor in Italy, they sent him home. Upon getting home, they found "over 50% retinal detachment".

    Dan - Glad to hear your eye op came out OK. Any idea what caused the eye problem to start?

    Alex - Were you being clairvoyant? Dan just needed a black eye-cup and the pirate picture would have been accurate :D.

    Hahaha! I was thinking the exact same thing! I was joking around about Dan the pirate then Rich posts a pic of him wearing an eye patch! Imagine that?

    Dan - glad you're ok. We need to catch up soon. Maybe another Amici's "shoot the s**t" night in Redwood Shores? AARRRRRRR!!!!!
