Are we missing anyone in the pole? I will start it shortly here please add your name if it is missing DrT.348?
Oh, yeah. I would like to be included. I thought you weren't letting black in. Here's an interior pick. Image Unavailable, Please Login
OK. Today I spent 7 hours on the car, total is 10 hours so far. As you saw in the previous posts, the car was a mess, but I had cleaned it up very well: But then, I covered it with a car cover, never been used before and the car was completely clean and this is the damage the '100% soft cotton' car cover has caused: That section that looks like the reflection of clouds is actually marring that was caused by the cover flapping on the body during the high winds we had a couple of weeks ago in Melbourne, even thought the car was in a carport. Nasty. No more car covers, I'd rather wash to get rid of dust. Here's the same Quarter Panel after a Moderate Cut: and after a wax: Here are a couple of areas that needed a fair bit of attention paid to them. The lower section of the Quarter Panel: I had smeared Polish with my finger across the section to minimise slinging: Badges were masked carefully to ensure they weren't damaged but that I was correcting imperfections as close to them as possible. I'm not a fan of badges and would normaly remove them, but this is the signiture of a legendary company The guards: Swirls and a faint hologram in full sun: Rectified: After Wax: The Exterior is now finished. Rear Window: Before: After: Interior & Wheel & Tyre Detailing Starts Soon...
Pista, That is stunning work you did! The car looks gorgeous! Great job! Take some "before" pictures of the interior to show the difference after the work is done. Again, great job!
Doh. The Interior is already half cleaned dammit! I had run out of light today, but I'll continue next weekend and take as many pics as I can. Yes & no. It was tiring, but fun. The time flew by. Just in case you hadn't realised, I am a professional detailer, so I may be cheating in this thread lol. Thanks for the kind words guys. I don't want to win, just to show off a bit PS: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=398672&stc=1&d=116001708 That Black Hardtop is a stunner. Needs Yellow Calipers...
I wouldnt have guessed. You seem very meticulous with your work and your 348 is looking fantastic! More pics when available mate. Cheers.

Oh man, that Black 348 ftw. You have great taste, I love the Colour scheme (Black on Beige) and I love the wheels, the best 348 i've ever seen, just wish it were a spyder... Is it Flat Black or metallic? Looks Solid Black from what I can see. Is that an alcantra wheel as well? Aweome.
Recently bought it, added drilled pedals & slickshift, Cavallino horse to rear. New sport mats arriving soon. Question: Do any of you know a few good sources of (discounted??) Ferrari parts *just in case*? Please post the links for me, and thanks for your help. -- Andy Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
