Lindsay Fox's Enzo is currently on secondment display at the Newcastle Regional Museum from 2 January to early March 2007. It's all on its own in the childrens play section at the museum and located behind an electronically guarded beam. Entry to view the Enzo is only $2. The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday. It's only about an hour and a half drive north to Newcastle for any Sydneysider wanting to view this masterpiece. It looks quite impressive on display, albeit, the yellow-painted roof doesn't do it any favours, IMO. But hey, it's an Enzo.

Nice pics, the 2nd one looks almost like a painting.
Yellow roof is "different"....would take some getting used to.

Nice pics. Enzo looks great as always. Not sure about the yellow roof. But that can always be repainted red again. :):)

Not sure why. Wasn't it on display in NZ recently? It may be Lindsay Fox's way of showing it off to car buffs, whilst making a bit of money for charity(s)?

I believe that the roof is painted yellow to accord with the Fox transport company colour logo and probably doubles as a tax incentive - that's what I've heard on the grapevine anyhow.

As if anyone in their right might wouldnt respray the roof as soon as they bought it off him(if he was ever to sell it). Id buy red macgyver tape to cover the roof till I could get it too a panel beater :p

While it be nice to see it in the flesh, I dunno if its incentive enough to drive to Newcastle :p

No, the head dude @ Ferrari paint shop made a big stink about painting it yellow, something about refusing too etc... but the customer won out in the end (or as the story goes).

Where did you hear that story? I thought I read where Fox bought the Enzo from a dude in the USA for circa $500K, landed it in Australia for peanuts and then had the roof painted yellow in the land of Oz to accord with his company colours - all in the name of tax savings as it was listed as a heritage museum piece which could not be driven on Oz roads !

Didn't the real Enzo used to say, "We sell you the engine - the rest of the car is free"?

This story proves he bought it from the factory, making my story more valid than yours :p (ie: story from 2003).

I think it was........"You pay for the engine, the rest of the car is free."
    Something like that anyways. :)

ALSO If you go to the fox collection website
If it was "aftermarket" paint, it wouldn't be tagged as the only 2tone Enzo produced.

Its safe to say that it was painted that way from the factory.

My story may or may not be exaggerated, but if I was working at Ferrari, I know I wouldn't be impressed either haha.
