    The F40 LM featured cabin ventilation that was directed from the butress of the door mirrors using shutoff vents that are the same items as used for the street car's air-conditioning vents... this should keep some losing sleep into the wee hours :)

    The ex-Paul Frame F40 for sale inclusive in the Ferrari Supercar set was fitted with the European F40 hydraulic lift system by Ferrari Houston in the period. It is one of 3 USA F40s I know of with this feature. Interior carpet appointments were custom made for Frame. CD fitted with ventilation controls moved over to the far left...

    Makes the price being asked seem rather rich for this car - lots of non-original stuff. 5 1/4 would seem top money for this car.

    "CLUB 40" is a Ferrari F40 Owners Club dedicated to driving their F40s. As we can see, they drive them. Day & night. These Banzai pilots organize events regularly and are 'cause celebre' amongst Ferraristi in The Land Of The Rising Sun...I have been hearing about this Club for years. Dedicated to enjoying their F40s on the open road and occasionally on the track, lore has it that these guys are a wild & crazy bunch!

    Kuzi,

    Perhaps half of the 211 F40s supplied to the USA live in the West Coast states alone, so geography really isnt an excuse. At last year's 20th Anniversary cars came from Texas, California, Washington, and Nevada for example.

    Plans are definately afoot for 'F40 Drivers' to get together... stay tuned.

    Our leader was the irrepresible media tycoon and jet pilot Yuri S...

    He took delivery of his car at Maranello in 1991, has used it variously to daily-commute from his Bel Air home to his office in Beverly Hills, and despite the 15,000 miles he has accumulated, with lots of TLC the car is cosmetically as good as any. However, mechanically this car is better than most!
