Saw new calofornia last week in Maranello

    Last week i was there for the fifth time in a few years. What you could see is that Ferrari is expanding the factory a lot. You can see it on the pics. I think they also reclassify the factory because the places I know where you can see some mules, became buildings for new painted body's. For news, it's no like 5 years ago.

    I also saw the new California. The only thing I can say is that you have to see the car "live". It's a lot better than on the pics BUT as a longtime Ferrariaddict: it's not a wow car. It will take a lot of time - like the F599 for me - to accept that this is a Ferrari.

    Technically it's a masterpiece. The noice of the mule was like a Scuderia. And the gearshift... unimaginable fast. Like you can see in one of the pics, there were 3 California's near the entrance. Some - I think new customers - could ride the car as passengers on the factory. They were also loading a truck with e new red California ( the truck in the background). I also saw 5 mules of the car but my photographerreactions were a bit to slow. I saw a black, red/black, blue and gold one. Also the new Maserati spider was at the Fiorano racetrack.

    I think you will see the car mostly in a dark color (black, grey, blue) but I think with the gold and the silver version you will see the design and the "lines" a lot better.

    Some photoshops on this discussion (stradale version - red/black wheels) could make the car more sportier.

    Perhaps a little late to be new, but my wife took this picture in early July straight down in the courtyard at the factory from 5th floor on Planet Hotel across the street - disguise or funny combination of colors???

    Nice pic ;) I would've said its camo but it's a bit confusing because the black is glossy just like the silver paint.

    I was in Maranello in August, and i did have the privliage of seeing a California in fact i think i might have been that one because it was red and did have all those rubbish black stickers on it, which are supposed to hide the looks of the car from photographers even though everyone knows what the car looks like anyway. And it is SOOOOO much better loking in the flesh than i've seen in any picture. Sadly couldn't get any pictures of it though, but you guys know what it looks like anyway.

    With the first one - the red/black one - I can't help but think of Darth Vader. Yes, I'm a nerd who needs to get out more obviously.
