Well, thats how many I took IIRC. Probably deleted 100 crap/blurry ones. Probably posted 500 pics on Fchat. The other 500 pics are for Pap's eyes only. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=165984
Lol, yeah man. I have seen this happened twice, in the early and late 90's. Scared the **** out of me when a mate and I drove up to the mele in the main street of town one night. We got the hell out of there before we were stomped to death. They had hundreds of locals fighting up town. They eventually took them all to Alex Inch Oval (football oval) and they let them battle it out, one on one fighting for a few days. No weapons, only fists. No one but the familes involved were allowed in. But we could pull up on the side of the road and watch the fights from the fence. Basically someone would call another person out from the other family sitting in the grandstand and they would fight on the oval. It didnt matter how big they were, they just went in fought till they had enough. Then..........someone else would walk onto the oval and call another person out. Etc...etc..... Even had kids, teens and women fighting. Was crazy stuff! Yeah........so do the LAPD!!
Have not driven the 348 for over 7 weeks. Last week, went to the garage and started her up without any issues. Today went to start the old girl to take her for a drive and she had a flat battery. Typical Ferrari!! Charged battery for an hour or so.........then we were off. This is the longest time that I can recall having the 348 sit in the garage. Man O man!! It took some getting used to again. STIFF accelerator pedal, Ferrari shift gate and no p/steering! Hehe! Almost stalled it a few times. What a pleasure to drive. Once on the road though, WOW!! What a great car!! I am so lucky to own such a beast!! Love it to death!! Here are some pics and a timer shot. (Car is REALLY dusty in those pics. I also had to remove a lot of cobwebs from the rear of the car in the garage) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Lol! I went to the Gym for an hour while the battery was charging in the 348. I usually wear those *pants* though when driving the 348. They are my 'driving pants'. Some people wear driving shoes, some people wear driving gloves. I wear driving pants that look like this.......... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Pic shows Ferrari speedo at 100 km/h @ approx 2500 RPM. But.....when you plug in Regina (Navman GPS), she only reads 88 km/h. Ferrari speedo is at 100 km/h!! There is a 12 km/h difference in it at 100 km/h on the Ferrari speedo!! BLOODY Ferrari! At 100 km/h on Regina, the Ferrari speedo is just under 120 km/h @ 3000 RPM. So PP.........you can add the 348 to the list. 100 km/h @ 3000 RPM. (That pic of Regina shows the Ferrari at just under 100 km/h @ just under 3000 RPM. Ferrari speedo was just under 120 km/h.) *yawn* i accept your apology i've never seen a speedo out that much btw. are you tryes the wrong size?
Yeah, speedo out big time. Unless that is normal to Ferrari being out that much?? The tyres I have are different to what they reccommend. I have 215/45/17 on the front and 255/40/17 on the rear. Ferrari reccommend 215/50/17 on the front and 255/45/17 on the rear. Would the difference in tyres be 12 km/h @ 100 km/h? Image Unavailable, Please Login
More work? What do you mean mate? Yes.......I LOVE that car!! It is so much fun!! Today was just a nice drive day. Didnt speed, didnt go too crazy around some fast corners. Just cruised around enjoying the ride. Even at 50 km/h this is a great car!! As much as I dont believe it, I really AM lucky to own a Ferrari!!
Well, I thought it would have something to do with it. Didnt realise that one profile size change would put the speedo out THAT far!! 328 has original size tyres on it?? 308 and 355 has different profile tyres obviously?
Ah, cool! If they are both around 5 km/h out with stocko tyres, then 12 km/h is probably right with the tyres I have on the 348.
