Just wanted to invite or remind you of our own "Pebble North": Kirkland Concours d' Elegance, Sunday 9-3 at Carrillon Point in Kirkland. As Always there will be some fantastic cars from around the country, so bring your camera.

Ticket funds go a great cause: Children's Hospital uncompensated care, and part goes to Evergreen Hospital. Hope to see you there!

Is this show by invitation only i.e. to show a car? I don't see any info on the website.

Just to remind everyone, if you want to see one of the premier PNW car events, please come sunday, Weather will be great, and so will your photos.

Rode in a 106 year old Pope automobile today, some great engineering for a time when when they still trying to figure it all out.

Kinda like riding in a wood garden shed with windows at 35 MPH.

Half the fun is actually seeing the nice cars in the parking garage lol. The first place I got to see a 575 Superamerica was in the garage for the Concours a couple years ago

A few photos that I took today.
The addition of the vintage hydro boats was a very nice touch. Ditto for the micro series cars; Mini, Messerschmidt, and Topolino. The Caddy had a controversial picnic basket, sporting bith Husky and Coug sodas. There was a nice array of classic, vintage and sport cars. Ferrari Supercars were represented by the 288GTO, F40 and Enzo which caused a huge crowd to form. Ben was invited to show his CGT and fielded many questions! Several club members attended and Brown M was a Judge.

Ildy noticed Dale Chihuly's wild shoes and I had to get a shot when he stood next to the '54 Packard Pacific HT.

One thing I can say for sure, I'm sure jealous of the GREAT weather they had today!!! Where was all this sunshine last week for the Italian Concours????? ;-)

Love that 288GTO!! Yowzers! What a car.

Sorry I had to miss this today! I've been installing a new stovetop for Mary! Or, old one gave up the ghost last night! What did Roseann-Rosanna-Danna say? "if its not one, its the other, but its always something!!!"

They fired them up this afternoon, it was such a great sound. The roar just killed everything around, I was giggling like a kid.

+1 on the Mercedes Benz Autobahn Kurier...very elegant. I'm just learning to appreciate pre-war cars such as Benz 540s and Alfa 8Cs. My favorite car era even better than my own genre are the mid to late 50s cars and there were quite a few SLs there. Though I was hoping to see a 50s Ferrari...

I used to hear them run time trials on Lake Washington 12 miles from my house. Once they quit running the V-12's I quit going to the races. No sound, no fun.

I wish they could start a new unlimited 12 cylinder class using modern equipment.............

Great photos folks and a big reminder that I forgot that it was the day for the concours and I actually had the day off and could have made a run over the pass.

John, I did a "oh wow" on the finish on the Cord before I read that you had detailed it. Great work, the car is spectacular.

Speaking of the Italian Concours. Here is a nice blast from the past:

I found this slide show presentation that I made up back in 2006 to show perspective vendors & sponsors for the Italian Concours. Shows our time down at Pier 62/63 from 1997 through 2003 and then the 2005 show at South Lake Union after the Pier was condemned by the city. See if you can spot your cars and motorcycles!! :)
