OK, before this gets too out of hand let me tell you that the gentleman that owns FoD is completely in love with this car and has raised the price because he not so secretly doesn't want to sell it! I know, I know, it sounds ridiculous but that's the truth...
I know, it's usually not the way one should run a business but I've worked for Mr. Stewart for almost 15 years and he sometimes gets attached to certain cars more than he should. He's a real car guy to the core!
Then why doesn't he buy it?? Sounds more than a little like a lame excuse. I don't know the man or you, but thats no way to conduct business, wouldn't you agree??
exactly...he doesn't need to buy it for himself, he's floor planned the car so he's already paying for it!
May be but there prices are proof that there is way to much crack in the north East $214 for an 07.. Just silly But i guess deep pockets dont care
Fair statement. Question is, does Mr. Stewart know the history or dare I say "story" on that car? Or perhaps the history/story doesn't matter if it's just going to be a static display on the showroom floor. Crazy... yes. Uncommon... no. I know a handful of sellers asking top dollar for their CS as they "secretly" do no want to sell. I don't blame them as the CS is one incredible beast. However, if they truly want to sell then they'll need to come way down off their near $200k asking prices.
There are a total of 4 CS's at two Fchat sponsor dealerships that are averaging $149K. This sure is a great time to get one if it's possible. It's crazy that a dealership would mark up a car just to have it on the lot any longer.
