They can. The drawing was done by Vagas for "The Cars" album "Candy-O" and the car used for the drwaing was at the Beverly Hills Ferrari dealer. I had the serial number somewhere but can't be bothered looking. There are web pages devoted to the story how that album cover was made. Someone will have the serial number. Crazy really.
LOL - Just means you're one of da family <rubs spyder's head> Can't remember seeing one in that blue.......me likey Do you know which blue that is? Yours, or a friend's? Crazy neat, too. I'd never noticed that it was a 365, and it used to be one of my favorite albums.
Gorgeous..And no one is giving you a hard time, it's all in good fun. Thanks for sharing. I love GTC4s.
Can't remember the name of the colour straight away, interior is black pretty chic contrast with the blue. Previous owner installed a 6-speed (bit weird)
There was a blue C4 with a 6 speed for sale in Melbourne for a long time. Is that the car? If it is please PM me as we have a group of guys who go for drives about 6 times a year in old banger Ferrari which have carbs. You are most welcome to come along. We get from around 15 to 50 cars along. The next one is along the Great Ocean Rd.
Well you can buy posters and T-Shirts of the album cover. Also there is a neat story about the model used and she had a subsequent relationship with one of the Cars band members. I read the whole story on the web. Interesting how Vagas was commissioned to do the cover art. He was old and had no interest in cars but agreed to draw the model draped over the bonnet of a Ferrari. One of the band members then got involved with the model (can't remember her name) blah blah blah. If you are interested you should be able to find the whole story via Google.
