Bradan 348 major service

great job what type of paint and primer, i would like to work in your shop for free just to learn more about my 348, hell ill clean the shop floor, wash cars, haul out the trash and i have 36 years in large marine diesel repair,thanks for sharring, its like a soap opera cant wait to see what the next day brings, thanks john

 

I dont understand? why go through the headache if you can buy a BRAND NEW engine for 12k and still save a ton of money. here it is.......

That motor is starting to look more like it came out the dirt from a junkyard! Can't wait to see it all purdy again!

Dan - the valve covers look amazing! Honestly, you did a better job than the shop we paid to do my Mondial plenum.

I've ordered the SS brake lines on special from Bradan, so those should be put in during this service as well. Got them on my Mondial and are very happy with them.

We discussed this - I even thought of a 355 swap, but in the end Dan made some good points which included not knowing the history of the engine. I didn't see this crate engine, the ones I was looking at were used. Day late and many dollars short!
