That would be an ISO Grifo, very cool car. If I can remeber correctly there were just under 400 produced, some had a Chevy V8.

Yep - Iso Grifo. Based on the look of the hood/bonnet this would be a small block car. I think the 327 Chev/Corvette engine.

    Cheers

No, that's a Conan O'Brien "If They Mated" of a Lambo Miura bred with an early 60's Corvette Stingray.

Iso was an Italian company founded by Renzo Rivolta. He started building small, mass-produced vehicles, for post-war Italy, thus came about the Issetta (yes, that little three and four-wheeled bubble car that failed to sell, but after an association with BMW, was sold successfully).

After that, in the beginning of the '60's, he asked Giotto Bizzarrini to engineer a GT car, which was the "in-thing" at that time. To set themselves apart from the other Italian marques and to offer something for a lower price, they used Corvette engines. This became the Iso "Rivolta" styled by Bertone. Renzo passed-away in 1966, his son, Piero taking over the company.

After that car, came the four-door, Giugiaro-styled "Fidia". Produced in a new factory alongside the Gandini-styled "Lele" and the "Grifo". They also had problems getting engines from GM, which demanded firm orders, so they turned to Ford, for their "351 Cleveland" V-8's

By the '70's, Piero never got along with Ivo Pera, a major shareholder in the company, to the point where Piero left. Soon after that, the oil crisis, labour unrest, etc... Forced the closure of the company... Like so many others
