    The Lusso is special!
    1 of 10 built in the 1980's by ADB, the only 1:14 modell they ever made.
    The first time I saw it was in Cavallino, around 1988 I think.
    After that I only saw it in a Dannhausen-mailorder catalogue.
    Sold out before release at $4000 or DM5600 the price of a good secondhand Golf at the time.

    Never expected to see it again, but accidentally it was offered for sale by its first owner 20 years later.
    He gave me a SWEEEEET deal.

    Its not perfect, but thats fine... its a privilige owning a modell I never expected to have..


    The Cioni 512BBLM is another one I knew for +/- 20 years before finally getting it.
    Andrea Cioni built 3to4 of these a month, don't know the final number, but it can't be higher than a 100.
    At the time he built quite a few specials for Milano43, but tragicly ended his own life soon after..

    The 250GTO is a pretty rare Carlo Brianza.
    The 275GTB's are a long and shortnose version. In detail they are quite different.
    The 275Nart is made by HE14, a series initiated by paolo Tron, at Brianza they claim its a copy of their 275GTB with the roof sawn off, but in reality the detail is very different.

    These are all older models, the builtquality is pretty rough, at the time they were built, these were among the most exclusive handbuilts available!

    I'll post more tomorrow.. I have "several" more to show... If other collectors have different cars, please show them... I would love to see whats out there!

    There must be more collectors of these, they ended up somewhere...

    Such an amazing collection, and crazy to think you could actually purchase real cars for less money than these models. :) Thanks again for sharing these. Hope you are still building, too!

    Hans- I love the 250 LM, my favorite Ferrari. What a bargain at 125 euros. Amazing what you can find on E-Bay being sold by people with no idea of their item's value.

    Was there a serial number associated with the model? It appears to be LHD.

    Thanks for the compliment Christian, it took a long time to get them together.
    Finding new additions in 1:14 is very difficult there are only a few left, I am still looking for some...
    (I know a very rare rosso-corsa P4. I hope the present (lucky) owner will be willing to part with it one day..)

    In 1:12 its easier.
    I am finishing a Masta 1:12 daytona (made a quick picture), and I have quite a few in line to build. (you saw part of the stock in the kit-thread) If I find another MG P4 kit for a reasonable price, I will let you know

    The LM is numbered by the builder, but the actual chassisnr. is not known.
    Knowledge is the key to ebay! I watched these models being released in the 1980/90's
    At the time, finishing education, prices were way to high for me.
    Over the years they came into reach.
    Present technology allows builders to make perfect replica's, but the fact that these are entirely handmade makes them extra special!

    Ebay is a fantastic medium, several of my models came from ebay.
    Last week I bought a factorybuilt 1:24 P4 by CMA's Marshall Buck for 34 euro's.
    It needs some TLC but its a steal for a modell made by one of the best builders of the world

    These are the only 2 I have on this computer.
    Its a Minidelta P3 in 1:12. Its made by Patrice de Conto.

    The kit is expensive (690euro's) the quality and detailing is superb!

    The most rewarding and timeconsuming job is sticking a 1000 rivets on the body.
    Its done after painting, each rivet is painted afterwards with a toothpick.
    The effect is incredible!

    wow,wow,wow that is the perfection....exllent details here...by P Conto normaly is very expensive around 9000€ model finished.

    1000 rivets amasing....the pictures how perfectly what you want to say...incredible.
    but you seems to have a lot of time, Are you retired?

    your collection is completed today or you looking for more models, which ones?

    retired? Man I wish!
    A lot of time? No Way! I run my own business and work +/- 70 hours a
    week.

    The build of the P3 took me 1,5 years, the Daytona took uptill now, around 1 year.

    The 1:14scale-models are from the 1980-90's and were sold as factorybuilts.
    Several are restored but I collected them over a period of 10 years.
    In 1:12scale most are also factorybuilt.

    In the past I built a lot of cars in different scales, but I sold them over time. At the moment I have about 10 "homebuilt" models.

    I am allways on the lookout for specific cars.
    There are 2 HE14's that are still missing, a 250TR and a 412P. These are very rare, from both cars only 25 were made.

    As mentioned before, I would love to have a Rosso-Corsa P4 in 1:14.

    MG14 has made some early factorybuilts like a 1:14 333SP and some others.

    The plan is to get a built Patrice de Conto Ferrari in a couple of years.

    Oh i believe you was a "cool retired man", bilding wih passion all thse models.
    PAtrice Conto s exceptional hand-worker very finestin the detail, i saw some of his models
    as the 335 S very miticulous, very expensive too.

    Hope you get your plan i will be sure that you post some pics.

    333SP in 1/14...i never see this model. must be great.
