You might want to check out this pouch key on Ebay (Item # 330119911922). Adds a nice touch if your is missing. Just got mine and it is pretty nice and works fine. $4.00. Also works on door pouches.

Thank you for posting this. I didn't know that was lockable/had a key. I am going to take a closer look tomorrow.

There was a previous post about this about 2 months ago, named a site where it could be purchased. I couldn't find it again with a search but it was in this section to my recollection. I had no idea it existed either.

If it looks like a key for a toilet paper dispense, one shouldn't expect anything more than a crappy photo. It is the quality of the job you want to focus your attention on and not the dispenser. I did. However, I didn't want to be accused of a crappy #2 so I bought three.

It fits the pouches in the door of a 308. I guess there are some behind the seats in some Ferraris. These pouches take the place of a glove compartment. Yes, they look like a key to a toilet paper dispenser.

What years or models have these pouches? I have an 85 and yes there is a pouch behind the drivers seat, I know there isn't a lock, not sure if there is even a snap

On the back of the Pass seat on my US 85' 308qv- there is a pouch and here is a shot of the latch-key mechanism. (I've never used the pouch or lock, but I ordered the key, just to have it)

All factory-stock upholstry has this lock-able 'pocket' on the rear of the passenger seat. Its for the Owner's Manual pouch, since there's no other place for the factory docs.

Makes sense, especially at the cost of the owners manual, the latch/lock dosent look like something that could be moved from old to new upholstery

So, I took off the cloth seat cover I have had on there for many years and sure enough, there was the pouch and the latch ( '85 USA 308 GTSi ). I would have never guessed the two little holes accept a "key" and it could be locked. It wasn't, so I opned the flap and found two items in there. One was a small swatch of the upholestery leather material. The other was a black plastic pouch and inside I found a lamp with a magnet on the back and a long folded up cord with a plug that I assume I could put in with the lighter on the console removed. Very interesting. Russ

I think the older 308's in particular the GTS had the pouches on the door...both sides. That's where mine are and I'm pretty sure it's original.
