I am detailing the engine of my 83 308 GTSi QV and would love to hear from fellow chatters about what paint I should use to match the paint/coating that is on the fuel injection plenum box and other areas of the engine. How about replacement/restoration of the Ferrari emblems that are screened/stenciled on the airbox, etc. Want to know what anybody else has done to restore these areas. Please help. Thanks ahead of time. Robert

    just a small tip.
when i am using a new product and am not sure of the results, i use it first in the engine compartment of my other car. was an 87 Bronco, now a 2000 ranger.

if the stuff works good, then i use on the 348. if not so good, no harm done.

How much you want to bet that's from the high-res scan that Verrell did and that I converted to vector graphics so it could work with a vinyl sign cutter?

Probably costs $5-10 to have the stencil made from the CorelDraw or Adobe Illustrator file.

That's what I figured as soon as I saw it on eBAY.

BTW, I've got black wrinkle powder, will be powdercoating an airbox cover this fall. Also will have a silk screen or stencil for 328 & 308 covers made.

Then I can offer an air box cover renewal service on an exchange basis.
Powdercoating s/b much sturdier & repeatable than wrinkle paint.

    OK,
If somebody wants to supply me a copy of the EPS file I will gladly provide them with some cut vinyl output from the file. I could easily create the screen for a silk screen if someone would like. Let me know. Thanks. Robert
