    Wow!

I thought that my car being the #2 factory FI GTSi ever made might add a few dollars to the price might be good, but...

wonder how much it would be worth if it was a converted 308 rather than one of the run of 4 built at Michelotto for rallying (and didnt have the string of Race/Rally results it has)?

That cannot be the original engine, and there is no way a K-jetronic unblown engine (shown in the ad) "can be tuned to make 400 hp". Every Michelotto engined V-8 I have seen in these cars has Kugelfischer injection, not a stock K-jetronic down to the original street aircleaner as shown in the ad.

I usually trust Mr Sheehan's descriptions , and he may not be aware that the ad is not clear that this is not the original engine.

Nice, but for that money I think I would rather have the 288GTO or F-40.

Well a Michelotto 308 is not your regular 308 . Expensive nonetheless , last time i checked they were worth 150.000$.

That VIN falls BETWEEN my two 1977 308GTBs, as a check for how long that thing was at Micholetto's........

My guess is a early 2V engine modded heavily with later technology, hence the "83 QV" nomenclature...

    I have 1977 308GTB 22127..

    and also,

    I have 1977 308GTB 22641.

    See what I mean???

That said, race cars are race cars....street standards don't apply.

Surprised it doesn't have a Micholetto "build number' instead, like the early F40LMs did........

Technically, the F40s already ARE the world's most expensive 308! LOL!

I like this quote " Priced right in today’s market at $349,500."
I guess my 85's value just went up because today's market is so hot.

See? I like the way you think!

Like the current market on the 275GTB, you HAVE to factor in the PARTIES!!

    ROTFLMAO!
