The plastic screw on the right side broke off as i was removing the drain plug. I noticed that the brass screw was also loose. I tried to scrape away the broken plastic around the brass fitting thin I managed to knock it into the radiator. I will attach pics soon. any ideas on how to fix this problem or does anyone have a spare they want to sell?

Looks like electrolysis eroded that mate, I would be looking for a poorly grounded engine or starter motor leads. I have added additional earth leads on other cars when I used to repair them for similar failures. Your radiator can be repaired but not while it's in your car, Remove it if you can and take it to a radiator shop and they will either sweat a new tank on it or tap out a larger thread and install a new pet-cock for you ;)
